Social Media Volunteer/ Intern

Do you love spending time in nature, listening to nature sounds, and experiencing the silence and solitude?

Are you sensitive to man-made noises and does noise pollution annoy you?

Would you like to preserve natural quiet for the benefit of all life?

Quiet Parks International is looking for an intern/volunteer to manage its social media presence.

Social Media (10 hours/ week)

· You will help identify and reach out to social media influencers and other potential partners to create pilot campaign(s) and grow our online communities

· Create, maintain and own monthly content calendar and internal digital library

· Research on thought leadership topics that align with our mission

· Create positive engagements and monitor comments

Who are you?

· Deeply passionate about preserving quiet and nature

· A sophomore/senior undergrad or postgrad student in relevant field of study

· A go-getter, self-starter with high determination who has a peaceful and positive outlook to life

· Desire to work in a non-profit organization with a world-wide impact

· Relentless learner, experience or exposure or desire to learn about social media outreach

Note: QPI is an all-volunteer organization. Hence, this position is also unpaid. For candidates who are in universities, we’ll gladly assist you in securing credits for this position with Quiet Parks International.
