Hansta Nature Reserve was Awarded the Urban Quiet Park Status on August 18, 2022

In the Hansta Forest you can wander through both old primeval coniferous forest and groves with hazel and centuries-old oaks. In the spring, the forest slopes are covered with carpets of bluebells and whitebells, while mushroom picking is one of autumn's attractions.

The woodland is varied, which contributes to the nature experience. A large part consists of boulder fields surrounded by magical natural forest with rough trees and fallen trunks.

In the east, the forest has the character of easily accessible open air forest. In one area, the rough pine forest gives a powerful impression of a large pillared hall and up on Astrid Lindgren's Berg there is a stone signed by the author, who was involved in the protection of the area
