How is the experience?

Imagine you laying down on your back and being guided on a triple journey through your body, senses and a series of nature soundscapes taking you on an Earth journey. Your mind, emotions and body are relaxing in such a deep way that it may make you feel refreshed like after a couple of hours of sleep. This is the power of EcoNIDRA™, a blend of the ancient yoga nidra with ancient roots and scientifically proven effects, nature connection practices, professionally recorded nature soundscapes, moments of silence, and a relaxing voice guiding you on the journey.

EcoNIDRA™ is a branch of the yoga nidra tree where nidra meets nature connection. A Forest Therapy guide at heart, Kat Novotna has created this blend of extremely deep relaxation, a deepening of our connection with nature and planting seeds of transformation in the powerfully healing state of parasympathetic nervous system dominance. For the sessions, participants are encouraged to bring a nature being like a plant, rock, leaf or feather for their nature connection, and as a witness of their new planted intent. At the end of a session, they are being invited to do a random act of kindness in their own environment and communities. The yoga nidra based EcoNIDRA™ sessions bring us to a state of deep sleep where our senses, intellect, and mind relax. We become free from the concepts of time, space and reason. When this happens, brain activity reduces, and the body goes in the healing state. Therefore, it is also said that one hour of yoga nidra can give the same benefit of a four-hour sleep. As the body enters a healing state, you can clear up the toxins at a cellular level, refresh the mind and remove baggage from the subconscious.

EcoNIDRA™ can be practiced by anyone. It holds immense benefits for all those who struggle to let go, those who suffer from lack of sleep, burn-out, and anxiety. It is also highly beneficial and holds great healing power for anyone who wants to experience a deeper sense of peace and re-connect more profoundly with themselves. The practice leads us into a state of harmonious, restful being. From here, we can heal, restore and re-connect with nature, including our closest, and our inner nature.

The sessions can be enjoyed from your home, joining is easy and doesn't require any special equipment other than your device, earbuds and a comfortable place where you can lie down and won't be disturbed. A pillow and a blanket are recommended to keep you warm and comfortable. Upon registration, you'll receive all the support needed to join from your device and space.

Who is the host?

Kat Novotna is a an ANFT certified Forest Therapy Guide and Trainer, Yoga Nidra Teacher and Body Wisdom Coach. She is the founder of Way Back Home and EcoNIDRA™. Kat's passion and mission are to help people cultivate their relationships with nature, with themselves and others by remembering their innate nature connection, body wisdom, how to relax deeply, and how to listen to their heart intelligence. With her passion for nature-inspired creativity and a background in cross-cultural communication, Kat enjoys guiding participants and teams from all cultures with her company Way Back Home in Forest Therapy walks in the Netherlands, and in her EcoNIDRA™ live stream sessions online.  

Kat is trained in Forest Therapy, Holistic Nutrition & Psychology, Yoga Nidra and Cross-Cultural Communication, has nearly two decades of experience in guiding and teaching participants outdoors, indoors and online, and is using her skills and passion to help people slow down, re-charge and re-connect with nature, with themselves and with others.

Schedule

All sessions last 50 minutes. Allow 10 minutes afterwards for coming out of the practice. Please contact host for booking an appointment.

 

Intrusions

The experience is being hosted from a quiet indoor location with many nature elements, in a little village near the forest. Some soft birdsong might be heard, and other than that a minimum of noise intrusions. The participants' audio will be muted during the experience for undisturbed sound.
